Winner of his stallion performance test with an international career
The large black Delatio is highly proven in both breeding and sport. In 2007, after his remarkable with outstanding marks in all criteria, the extremely easy to ride stallion became the sovereign winner of the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf, and in 2008, started breeding in the Netherlands. His progeny have since been successful up to high level and have placed their sire amongst the top group of the FN breeding valuation (144 points). With Miranda Rongen (NED), Delatio himself qualified for the National Championships of German dressage horses, won in Prix St. Georges and Intermediaire I classes and is currently placed in Grand Prix classes with Bianca Kasselmann.
In his pedigree, he unites the “classics” of dressage horse breeding: His sire De Niro, winner of the main premium I a in Oldenburg, started competing successfully in Grand Prix dressage competitions at the age of seven and, with his trainer Dolf-Dietram Keller, he won the blue ribbon at the Hamburg Derby and twice the German Championships of Professional Riders. In 2008, he was named “Hanoverian Stallion of the Year” and is now considered as the most successful living dressage sire in the world. Dam sire Rubinstein I, originating from Oldenburg, opened a new era in worldwide dressage horse breeding.
Diplomat, in the third generation, was the most-awarded stallion at national competitions and DLG agricultural trade fairs of all times. This powerful bay stallion has mainly produced very good show jumping horses. His great grand dam comes from a full brother and sister crossing and therefore brings double the blood of the valuable thoroughbred Wiesenbaum xx into the pedigree. Delatio represents the mare family 262/Donauharfe (Doktorand I-Antritt-Antonius-Sporck-Schwabenpreis etc.), which comes from Hanover, is rich in tradition, and whose origins go back to the first half of the 19th century. From this lineage come the licensed stallions De Niros (privately owned Bad.-Wttbg.), Don Caruso (privately owned DEN), Dynamit (privately owned AUT), Graf Gotthard Z (privately owned BEL, USA), Wiesengrund (Ldb. Celle, winner of licensing) and the successful sport horse Liebelei 9/Helga Köhler as well as Antony FRH/Isabell Werth.
A true “classic” for dressage horse breeding!
