Description:

Already a living legend – World-beating show jumping stallion

A legendary sports horse with a unique personality: For Pleasure looks back on an inimitable sporting career with total winnings of over € 1.8 Mio. He won fabulous trophies including several team Olympic and European gold medals, German Champion and many many victories in Grand Prix and World Cup competitions. A comet-like career began with 149.95 points in the jumping index at his stallion performance test already showing the class of this outstanding sports horse. His offspring leave no doubts to his top-rate ability as a breeding stallion. As if they were to honour his ingenious pedigree, which combines Furioso II and Grannus, they are playing a bigger role than ever in the international jumping sport. Ridden by Marcus Ehning, For Germany won the Grand Prix in Dortmund. Amongst the countless prizewinning horses were Firth of Clyde/Christian Ahlmann, For Keeps/Lars Nieberg, Forsyth/Toni Hassmann or Farina/Rene Tebbel. The young and talented Ferron was awarded a premium at the 2007 Westphalian stallion approvals and also in Holstein a son of For Pleasure was able convince the licensing panel of his terrific potential. An entire armada of highly successful sports horses originates from For Pleasure’s dam line, including Carmen/Johannes Ehning, For Fun/ Marcus Ehning as well as licensed stallions such as Fly High, For Lief’s Memory or For Play.
