Sire of champion stallions and German national champions
San Amour managed to break through to the international circuit at an early age. He is well built in frame with a modern conformation and seems to have been born with the ability to collect and the talent for the highest dressage level. As a producer, San Amour has gone straight to the top. As a sire, San Amour I is a highflyer and the German national championships are his stage: His daughter Soiree d'Amour was regional and uncontestable German national champion of three-year-old mares and geldings in 2012 with Kira Wulferding, vice-champion of the five-year-old dressage horses in 2014 and regional champion of the six-year-olds in 2016. In 2013, her full sister Soiree de Saumur won the bronze medal at the German national championships of five-year-old dressage horses and in 2014, she won the silver medal in the six-year-old class. Saphira Royal NG, who was also highly placed in the finals in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015, came third at the World Championships of seven-year-old dressage horses in Ermelo (NED) in 2016. Solitaire won the Bronze Medal at the German national championships of five-year-old dressage horses in a final where half of the participants were progeny of stallions from the Schockemöhle station. At the World Championships of young dressage horses, the San Amour daughter Samoura M won the silver medal in the five-year-old class and was the best German horse. Soirée d'Amour was fifth. Along with all the championship successes, his oldest offspring have meanwhile arrived on a broad front at high level and are successful at S level: The number of licensed sons has now reached 44, including champion and premium stallions. 60 daughters of San Amour have so far been awarded with the predicate state premium mare in different breeding regions.
In 2006, San Amour was premium sire and price highlight at the Oldenburg licensing in Vechta. In 2008, he was honoured as main premium champion and in his stallion performance test he was champion of the dressage index (rideability 9.5). Furthermore, he qualified for the German national championships and was placed in the finals. The Oldenburg elite mare show 2011 was literally a San Amour festival: of the nine qualified daughters from the first round, four went into the Brillantring and were placed second, third, fourth and ninth. In 2012, he had four daughters, the highest share of a sire's progeny, at the Westphalian elite mare show. The highlight of 2013 was his daughter Calamity Jane, champion mare of the Oldenburg elite mare show in Rastede. He consistently produces top horses for different auctions. With Stern von Afrika, San Amour produced the Oldenburg regional champion and vice German champion of the three-year-old mares and geldings, and with Petite Etoile, the 2016 regional champion of the five-year-old dressage horses.
San Amour's dam is the highly remunerated Puppenfee, who is equipped with quality movements and was Oldenburg reserve champion mare. She produced San Amour's full sister Auguste Victoria, Oldenburg regional champion in 2008 and his licensed full brother San Amour II (privately owned stallion, BEL). Bred to Fürstenball, Auguste Victoria produced the Oldenburg reserve champion mare 2014, Amelie. San Amour is bred for performance: Dam sire Plaisir d'Amour was successful at Grand Prix for years and participant in the World Equestrian Games 1998. The Oldenburg legendary sire Figaro as well as the thoroughbred Kronprinz xx, were stallions that sired horses for performance.
San Amour: A trademark stallion for the present and future!
