The Hanoverian gelding Baloutinue by BALOU DU ROUET (breeder: Heinrich Meyer) and Laura Kraut were the only pair in the entire Nations Cup yesterday to deliver two clear rounds.
In the jump-off Baloutinue then proved all his quality and decided the test with several seconds ahead for the USA. Laura Kraut has had Baloutinue under saddle for about two years now and says he is probably the horse of her life. The pair already won silver at the Tokyo Olympics.
Second place in the Nations Cup went to host Mexico, with the CONTHARGOS daughter Pia Contra (B: Tailormade Horses Aps) and Nicolas Pizarro coming in with four and zero faults from both rounds.
