Whoever was there will never forget Diarado's performance on the occasion of his licensing in Holstein in 2007. Fantastic type, optimal paces and boundless abilities during the loose jumping were attested by the licensing commission regarding Diamant de Semilly’s son, who was consequently selected as the winning stallion. Since then, Diarado has fulfilled his promise to breeders many times and even exceeded it. He has produced over ninety licensed stallions, thirty-six 1.60m show jumping horses, ninety 1.50m show jumping horses and three CCI5* eventing horses, who have catapulted Diarado to eleventh place in the WBFSH ranking of the world's best show jumping sires and even to first place of the world's best eventing sires. His references in show jumping include Don Diarado/Maurice Tebbel/GER, Olympic participant, WEG team third, winner of the Grand Prix of Hagen a.T.W./GER, second in the Grand Prix of Prague/CZE, Samorin/SVK and Mannheim/GER, fourth in the Grand Prix of Doha/QAT and German Championship gold medallist, Donatello/Ashlee Bond/ISR, placed eleventh at the Olympics, winner of the Grand Prix of Tryon/USA, San Miguel de Allende/MEX and Monterrey/MEX as well as second in the Grand Prix of Wellington/USA, Dicas/Margie Goldstein-Engle/USA, winner of the Grand Prix of Deauville/FRA and Traverse City/USA and fourth in the Grand Prix of Wellington/USA and Saugerties/USA as well as sixth in the show jumping World Cup in Lexington/USA, Dexter Fontenis Z/Simon Delestre/FRA, winner of the Grand Prix in Valkenswaard/NED, Karoline of Ballmore/Ashlee Bond/ISR, winner of the Grand Prix in Wellington/USA and participant in the World Championships, Dante MM/Alain Jufer/SUI, winner of the Grand Prix in Arezzo/ITA, Eurostar/James Arkins/AUS, winner of the Nations Cup in Vancouver/CAN and participant in the World Championships, Emerette/Michel Robert/FRA and Mariana Frauches Chaves/BRA, placed third in the Grand Prix of Fontainebleau/FRA and fourth in the Grand Prix of Oliva/ESP, Squirt Gun/Alain Jufer/SUI and Paul O’Shea/IRL, winner of the Nations Cups of Wellington/USA and Vejer de la Frontera/ESP, and Ezra van W/Giampiero Garofalo/ITA, winner of the Grand Prix of Valencia/ESP. Diarado's offspring registered in Germany alone have won over 2.39 million euros.
Diarado's offspring who are successful in eventing are led by Diachello/Jesse Campbell, who came fifth with the New Zealand team in the Olympic Games in Tokyo/JPN, and by QC Diamantaire/Sydney Elliott/USA, who is established at CCI5*-L level. JL Dublin/Nicola Wilson/GBR won team and individual gold at the European Eventing Championships in Avenches/SUI and was unbeatable in the CCI4* in Hartpury/GBR. Dacapo/Laura Collett/GBR won the CCI4*-L in Millstreet/IRL and came second in the CHIO in Aachen. Da Bin Ich C/Kaya Thomsen/GER secured team gold and individual bronze at the Junior European Eventing Championships. CIL Dara Dallas/Isabel English/AUS was placed fourth at the World Championships for six-year-old eventing horses. Duplexx/Jan Matthias/GER was silver and bronze medallist at the German Championships for five and six-year-old eventing horses and was, prior to that, Holstein Regional Champion in dressage.
Almost 60 licensed sons of Diarado are registered in Germany, including our double German Champion, Diaron OLD, as well as the OS Champion Stallion De Quidam, the stallion performance test winner Diacontinus, the Holstein Regional Champion Dinken and the main premium winner Diarado's Boy, who have long since collected all the international ribbons, as well as the Hanoverian show jumping champion, Doom SR/Harm Lahde (6y.o.), the German Sport Horse show jumping winner Dialido and the Holstein Premium Stallion Delta One. Amongst his daughters, the OS Champion mare Jurwina, the Champion Mare of the Franz-Strahl-Schäfer show in Baden-Württemberg, Dornröschen, and Edwina, who produced the 2018 Holstein Champion Stallion of the Year Cadilo, as well as the Oldenburg Vice Regional Champion Dakkara PS particularly stand out.
Diarado, Holstein licensing winner, stallion performance test record winner, German championship bronze medallist (with two marks of 9.0) and successful in 1.45m show jumping competitions, is preparing to follow in the footsteps of his legendary sire Diamant de Semilly, who won team gold at the World Championships in 2002 and team silver at the European Championships in 2003 and has been one of the world's best show jumping stallions for years according to the WBFSH ranking.
On the maternal side, Diarado unites the Holstein sires Corrado I, Contender, Lord and Ramiro.
From Diarado's prospering Holstein dam line 318 d 2 also descend his full brother licensed stallion Diadorado, as well as the licensed stallions Chello I to III, Castelan I and II, Crawford, Coriano, Corofino I and II, Martell I to IV and the show jumping horses Cabrio/Felix Haßmann/GER, Carlucci/Richard Robinson/GBR, Carthago's Sun/Andreas Kreuzer/GER, Curtis/Daniel Deußer/GER and Isny/Felix Haßmann/GER.
