You couldn't paint them more beautiful! The foals of Don Romance PS inspire: effective and powerful in trot and canter, a clear rhythm and big overtrack in walk.
Don Romance PS OLD was placed at the Oldenburg Regional Championships in 2020 after winning bronze the year before and finishing second at his stallion performance test with top scores. He was awarded scores of 9.0 for his canter, walk, rideability, general impression and character at his 50-day test in Schlieckau.
This extremely charismatic up-and-coming star is the result of the dream genetic combination of Dante Weltino and our exceptional broodmare Gesina.
His sire Dante Weltino came eleventh in the individual ranking at the 2022 World Championships in Herning/DEN, 14th at the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo/JPN and came eighth twice at the 2021 European Championships in Hagen a.T.W. At the European Championships in Gothenburg/SWE in 2017 and in Rotterdam/NED in 2019, the Oldenburg Reserve Champion was also part of the Swedish bronze medallist team with Therese Nilshagen. In 2018, he also came fourth with the Swedish Team and took the tenth place in the individual ranking at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon/USA. Dante Weltino started his career in five and six-year-old classes with serial victories and qualifications for the German Championships for young dressage horses. In 2014, in his first competition season at advanced level, he won 13 times and was placed in the final of the Nuremberg Burg Cup. At the age of eight in 2015, he successfully made his Grand Prix debut, finished fifth in the Frankfurt Louisdor Prize Final and was named VTV Dressage Stallion of the Year in Oldenburg. In 2016, he was selected by Sweden for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro/BRA. Amongst his over 20 licensed sons are Dante Quando OLD, champion of his stallion performance test and German and Regional Champion, and Dante’s Stern, German Sport Horse Champion Stallion and fourth at the Championships of Southern Germany. Dante Weltino's competing offspring have meanwhile reached the Grand Prix arenas themselves, such as Hanami OLD who was placed fifth in the Louisdor Prize. Dante’s Hit/Dorothee Schneider was placed in the Burg Cup final.
His dam El.St. Gesina has produced ten stallions. Among them For Romance I OLD (Oldenburg Champion Stallion and Main Premium winner, Burg Cup finalist, VTV Dressage Stallion and successful in Grand Prix), For Romance II (premium stallion and placed in international Grand Prix competitions at only seven years old)) and Fürst Donnerhall PS (licensed stallion) – all sired by Fürst Romancier. Her daughter Fasine OLD (also by Fürst Romancier), Oldenburg Champion Mare, German Champion, P.S.I record top price and successful up to Inter II produced the licensed stallion Fasino (by Foundation), and the mare A la Fasine (by Apache) - dam of the licensed stallion HP Valentino (by Vitalis). Gesina also produced the two champion stallions Feinrich (by Fürst Heinrich) and Viva Romance PS (by Vinino) as well as the licensed stallions Despacito (by De Niro), Forever Romance and Face Time PS (both by Foundation) as well as Golden Romance de Malleret PS (by Governor)/Helen Langehanenberg. Her daughter, the Oldenburg Champion Mare Fürstin Gesine (by Fürst Heinrich) produced the licensed stallions Visino PS (by Vitalis) and Montrachtet PS (by Morricone I). Gesina’s daughter Furtherance (by Fürst Romancier) produced the two licensed stallions Go For Romance PS (by Governor) and Viva Vitalis (by Vitalis), who was Champion Stallion. Vesina PS (by Vivaldi) produced the licensed stallion Sebastino PS (by Secret). Bred to Bordeaux, Gesina produced Mount St. John Best of All, British Dressage Champion and placed up to Small Tour level and is also the dam of Best of Mount St. John OLD (by Fürst Romancier), Vice Regional Champion and placed fifth at the German Championships and a licensed stallion by Quantensprung.
Through the dam’s sires Sir Donnerhall I and Don Schufro, there is interesting line breeding to the sire of the century Donnerhall and the no less significant half-blood Sandro in the previous generations of Don Romance PS’ pedigree.
His grand-dam Gesine also produced the Reserve Champion Vivaldi’s Schufro (by Vivaldi).
The famous stallion Voltaire also descends from this bloodline.
