Successful offspring in championships

The list of Fürst Jazz’s offspring who are successful in championships is getting longer and longer. His son Candoit’s Fabuleux Coeur OLD/Nicole Wego-Engelmeyer won the Oldenburg Regional Championships for five-year-olds. Favorit Unico/Lars Schulze Sutthoff took the lead at the Westphalian Championships. They were placed eighth and eleventh respectively in the final of the German Championships. Feodoro has been successful in Small Tour. From his first generations of offspring, Fürst Jazz produced ten licensed stallions, including the Champion Stallion Fürst Fabelhaft, the premium stallion and bronze medallist at the Oldenburg Regional Championships for four-year-old stallions, For Donnerhall OLD, as well as the P.S.I. auction highlight Fort Lauderdale. The daughters of this up-and-coming star, who is following in the footsteps of his revolutionary great-grand-sire Jazz, are equally exceptional, such as First Lady, who was successful at the Oldenburg Regional Championships and the German Championships. Focus me/Lydia Camp also took part in the Championships in Warendorf. With a final bid of 1.05 million euros, Fürst Jazz’s daughter Fürstin Aura was the most expensive dressage horse at the 43rd P.S.I. Auction in 2022 in Ankum. Before that, Fleur de Cherie was already the top price of the 2nd Hof Kasselmann Online Auction.

Ridden by Danielle Heijkoop/NED, Fürst Jazz continued his career with several placings in Small Tour with scores well above 70 percent.

His dam's sire Fürst Romancier was fourth at the World Championships for young dressage horses and the German Championships, received the Ia main premium and has produced over 30 licensed stallions, including For Romance I OLD, licensing and main premium winner and successful in Grand Prix, his full brother For Romance II, premium stallion and placed in international competitions, as well as Fashion Prinz OLD/Frederic Wandres/GER, Oldenburg Regional Champion, fourth at the German Championships, second top price of the P.S.I. Auction and bronze medallist at the World Championships for young dressage horses. For Romance I and II’s full sister St.Pr.St. Fasine OLD was Oldenburg Champion Mare, German Champion, P.S.I. record top price and placed up to Inter II level. First Romance/Dorothee Schneider, the former Young Riders Vice European Champion DSP First Class/Lia Welschof and Fürst Fritz/Daniel Pinto/POR are also successful in international Grand Prix sport.

His dam Borendy was Reserve Champion of the stud book registration competition in the Netherlands and made it to the finals of her age group.

His dam’s sire Painted Black I is the son of the legendary Gribaldi, Trakehner Champion Stallion, Trakehner Stallion of the Year in 2008, “preferent” stallion in the Netherlands and leader of the WBFSH ranking list of the best dressage sires in 2014. He won the silver medal at the World Championships for young dressage horses in 2003, finished third in the World Cup finals in 2009 with Anky van Grunsven/NED and participated with Morgan Barbançon Mestre/ESP in World Cups, European Championships, World Equestrian Games and Olympic Games.

Grand-dam Orendy, honoured as prest, ster and pref mare, produced the sires Zhivago and Estados (both by Krack C). Her daughter Capri P produced the licensed stallion Grenoble (by Bordeaux). Her full sister Trendy is the dam of the sires Charmeur (by Florencio I)/Madeleine Witte-Vrees/NED and Edelman (by Vivaldi) and her full sister Serendy produced the European Championship team Bronze medallist Zuidenwind (by OO Seven)/Rose Mathisen/SWE.

Jazz, in the third generation, was several times part of the Dutch dressage team with Tineke Bartels and Kirsten Beckers. Up until 2011, he led the ranking of the best dressage sires in the world, where he is currently fifth. In the Netherlands, he was honoured with the predicate “preferent” and was named “KWPN horse of the year” in 2006.

From the popular Dutch dam line 100, descend the stallions Van Gogh, Der Senaat, Iceberg ST, Kanjer, Zirkit, Rodny, Wannaroo O, Indentiek BH, Wilton, Le Premier Begijnhoeve and Asgard's Ibiza as well as numerous Grand Prix horses.
