His debut as a sire could not have been more successful: for the quality of his first foals, Chaccothage Blue PS was named the main premium winner in Oldenburg. With Chianti’s Chacco, he immediately produced the 28,500-euro top price of the Schockemöhle Helgstrand Online Foal Auction. At the Oldenburg Foal Championships, one of his daughters won the bronze medal. Another of his fillies was also bronze medallist at the Bonefeld Championships.
As well as a successful start as a sire, he is also showing fantastic expertise in sport. With Patrick Stühlmeyer, Chaccothage Blue PS recorded a series of victories and top placings in tests for young show jumping horses, including at the Dobrock competition and in Rastede, with scores of up to 9.2. “When you see him jump, you think of boundless jumping ability. The horse passes the jump through the body,” Peter Teeuwen praised after the final rounds at the German Championships on behalf of the jury, for which Chaccothage Blue PS received an 8.8 and a 9.0 and came sixth. He won his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf, receiving 9.5 for his scope and rideability and the dream score of 10 for his willingness to perform. With a total of 9.03 he was clearly ahead of the strong field of 36 candidates.
His sire is our elite stallion Chacco-Blue, who was third in the Grand Prix of Aachen and won the Grand Prix of Neumünster. Since 2017, he has led the ranking of the world breeding federation WBFSH. He has produced almost 60 licensed stallions, including Chacfly PS and Chacoon Blue, who are internationally successful, and Chad Blue, who was placed third in the Aachen Youngster Cup final.

Contharm/Bronislav Chudysa/SVK (all by Conthargos) and Chamitage (by Chacco-Blue).
His great-grand-sire is the Argentinus son Armitage, who won 1.50m show jumping competitions with Marcus Ehning and later with Guido Klatte. The latter pair also won the gold medal at the German Junior Championships in 2011.
His great-grand-dam Leonie (sport name Baloubet's Lady) was placed in 1.35m show jumping competitions and produced Carlitus (by Cartogran), who was successful in the international Youngster Tour, and Chilonie (by Chilento)/Jonathan Gordon/IRL, who was placed in 1.40m show jumping competitions.
