OS Champion Stallion and third in his stallion performance test

Oldenburg's Breeding Director Bernhard Thoben had described our stallion Corsini as a “shining star in a white coat” at his acclaimed licensing victory in Vechta. Corsini confirmed his outstanding potential during the loose jumping at his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf, where he came 3rd against strong competition. Corsini's scores in detail: his ability and rideability were all "very good" (9.0), and he was awarded 8.5 for manner, canter, general impression as well as his temperament and willingness to perform. This aggregation of performance characteristics is already in his pedigree, as three world-class stallions - Cornet Obolensky, Cassini I and Contender - are lined up in direct succession - perfectly rounded off by the noble blood connection via Narew xx.

We are now eagerly awaiting the OS Champion Stallion and third-placed at his stallion performance test, Corsini’s first crops of foals.

For many years, his sire Corney Obolensky appeared amongst the Top 10 of the WBFSH world ranking of the best show jumping sires. He produced countless show jumping stars, first and foremost the European Champion Clooney/Martin Fuchs/SUI, the Team Vice European Champion Comme il faut/Marcus Ehning/GER and Balou Du Revention/Brian Moggre/USA, who came second in Aachen/GER. At the age of eight, Cornet Obolensky had already won Grand Prix competitions and Nations Cups, including the Super League final, with Marco Kutscher. In 2008, after winning bronze at the German Championships, the Grand Prix of Balve and Cervia/IRA and the Nations Cup in Rotterdam/NED, he became a member of the German Olympic Team. Cornet Obolensky was also part of the German gold medallist team at the European Championships in Madrid/ESP.

His grand-sire Cassini I won the Nations Cups in Aachen/GER and Modena/ITA and the Grand Prix of Arnheim/NED with Franke Sloothaak/GER. Worldwide, he has produced over 70 licensed stallions and numerous offspring competing in show jumping courses over 1.60m.

His great-grand-dam Paola T produced the 1.30m show jumping horses Contender Boy and Chevrolet T (both by Contender).

In the pedigree follows Contender, 1986 reserve winner of his licensing and subsequently one of the most important sires of Holstein breeding. He produced over 120 licensed stallions, including the Champion Stallions Camiros and Cubito, as well as Contendro I. In sport, his offspring have won over 11.2 million euros in prize money, including Montender/Marco Kutscher/GER, individual and team bronze medallist at the Olympic Games in Athens/GRE in 2004 and double gold medallist at the European Championships in 2005, Checkmate/Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, Toni Haßmann’s triple Derby winner Collin, Chiara/Ludger Beerbaum/GER and Carlo/Sergio Alvarez Moya/ESP.

His great-grand-dam, Kinshasa, produced the 1.50m show jumping horse Taquila (by Paramount)/Sebastian Karshüning/GER, who achieved lifetime earnings of over 100,000 euros, as well as two 1.30m show jumping horses.

Dam line of Arad, from which descend the European Team Champion Ballerina (by Caretino)/Markus Merschformann/GER, as well as Singu (by Singulord Joter)/Hans-Thorben Rüder/GER, and the licensed stallions Toumba (by Toulouse), Collado (by Cassini I), Kaiden (by Chaman), Qulester (by Quinar), Classic Jump (by Clarcon) and many others.
