Large-framed, beautiful, perfect conformation and beyond all doubt talented in all three paces - this is how the highly sought-after descendants of Donier present themselves.
Donier recommended himself with an outstanding stallion performance test, which statt that he completed in Schlieckau in the top group, with the expected high scores for basic paces, willingness to perform and overall impression (9.0 each).
His sire De Niro, successful at Grand Prix level at the age of eight and winner of the Dressage Derby in Hamburg with riding master Dolf-Dietram Keller, led the WBFSH ranking list of the best dressage sires worldwide for six years. There are no championships in which his offspring, including Desperados FRH/Kristina Bröring-Sprehe/GER, Dablino/Anabel Balkenhol/GER, D'Agostino FRH/Fabienne Müller-Lütkemeier/GER, Delgado/Beatriz Ferrer-Salat/ESP, Voice/Edward Gal/NED, Deep Impact/Severo Jurado Lopez/ESP and Darco of De Niro ZS CH/Charlotte Lenherr/SUI, do not fight for medals. Over 250 advanced (S) level horses are registered in Germany alone and have won over 3.3 million euros in prize money for their father. With over 100 licensed sons, the 2008 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year has a lasting influence on breeding.
Our Ib main premium winner Fürst Toto (by Fürstenball) is also out of the dam Thery, who was herself successful in competitions for young dressage horses. His half-sister Fairytale PS (by Fürstenball) also produced our two licensed stallions Fair Deal (by Franklin) and Escanto PS (by Escamillo). The former was bronze medallist at the Oldenburg Regional Championships and the Oldenburg main premium, the latter won his two stallion performance tests-both with record scores.
His dam’s sire Totilas won double gold at the European Championships in Windsor/GBR in 2009 and triple gold at the World Equestrian Games in Lexington/USA in 2010. In 2010, he also won the World Cup final in ’s-Hertogenbosch/NED. Several times he set new records in Grand Prix. He has produced over 30 licensed stallions, such as Total Hope OLD, Champion of his licensing, winner of the Burg Cup and the Louisdor Prize and participant at the World Championships, who was among the record-breaking number of Totilas offspring competing at the World Championships in Herning in 2022, also including Torveslettens Titanium RS2/Marieke van der Putten/NED, who came fifth by team. Top Gear OLD, who was placed fourth in the Burg Cup, Governor-STR/Adelinde Cornelissen/NED, who came second at the World Championships for young dressage horses and fifth by team at the European Championships, and the international Grand Prix winners Birkhof’s Topas FBW/Victoria Max-Theurer and Thiago GS/Matthias Alexander Rath are also to be mentioned.
His grand-dam Lasira produced a licensed stallion by Foundation. Her daughters Disney’s Dory (by Desperando) and Gallery (by Governor)/Andrea Timpe celebrated their first successes at advanced level. Gallery’s son Sergeant PS (by Sir Donnerhall I) was licensed and was the top price of 114,000 euros at the Schockemöhle Online Auction.
In the previous generations, the stallion lines of Lauries Crusador xx, Sandro Hit and Donnerhall appear.
The great-grand-dam Sunny-Girl produced the licensed stallion Lord Schufro OLD (by L’Espoir), Regional Reserve Champion and placed twice at the German Championships, and the premium stallion Fürsten Hit (by Fürstenball). Her daughter Funny-Girl (by Fürst Romancier) produced the licensed stallion San Bordeaux (by San Amour I).
The fourth dam Fantastica produced the two licensed stallions Sunny-Boy (by Sandro Hit; advanced (S) level dressage) and Classico (by Classiker, sport name Capuccino, victorious at Grand Prix level with Karin Rehbein and Julia Katharina v. Platen-Elmerhaus, lifetime earnings above 120,000 Euros).
The famous line of Finnländerin has produced around 50 licensed stallions, amongst them Adelfos, Aldato, Don Primero, Radetzky and Rio Negro, as well as internationally successful show jumping horses such as Cindy Crawford/Piet Raymakers/NED, Elastique/Jörg Münzner/AUT, Enigk and Feuerdorn/both Hans-Günter Winkler, and the top dressage horses Macbeth/Willi Schultheis, Malteser/Otto Lörke, Mariano/Dr. Josef Neckermann, Rubelit/Christine Stückelberger (SUI) and Tiga/Heinz Lammers as well as Fabina, the Champion of the Oldenburg Elite Mare Show in 2003.
