In 2020, the Trakehner licensing commission in Neumünster described the winning stallion Rheinglanz, who is now continuing his triumphant progress under saddle, as a "very special stallion". Ridden by Eva Möller, he was unbeatable at the Trakehner Riding Horse Championships: 8.5 for trot, 9.5 for canter, 8.5 for walk, 9.5 for training, 8.5 for conformation, and an overall score of 8.9. At the German Championships, Rheinglanz also performed brilliantly with 8.5 for trot, canter and rideability, 9.0 for his conformation and 8.0 for walk. With a score of 8.6, he won the bronze medal against strong competition. At his stallion performance test in Schlieckau, he consistently received scores between 8.0 and 9.0, with a rideability score of 8.75. With an overall score of 8.38, he was placed sixth in the strong field of 39 candidates.
The sire Helium is a great-grandson of the great elite stallion Gribaldi through his sire Millennium and closely related to the stallions Henkel, Herkules and the dressage champion and the Reserve Champion Herakles via his Danish dam line. He was the Champion of his stallion performance test in Schlieckau in 2016 and made his victorious debut in young horse competitions. This was followed by a rideability victory in his sport test and his first successes at advanced level at the age of seven. From his first two crops of foals, Helium produced the Trakehner Champion Stallion in 2019 with Ferrari Forever and in 2020 with Rheinglanz. His son Dameron was also awarded. His daughters, the full sisters Helene and Salvana's Helena, became Champion Mares in 2020 and 2021 and won the Trakehner Riding Horse Championships in their age classes. Her Majesty was Champion Mare at the Franz-Strahl-Schäfer Mare Show in Baden-Württemberg (3y.o.) and Gräfin India was Champion Mare in the breeding district of Lower Saxony North-West.
His dam St.Pr.u.Pr.St. Rheinhilde, a half sister of the elite stallion Rheinklang (by Gribaldi), was Reserve Champion of the central mare registration in Rhineland in 2009 and won the Ic class prize at the Rhineland regional show.
His dam's sire Couracius was Reserve Champion of his licensing and second Reserve Champion of his stallion performance test. He produced four Reserve Champion Mares, including Shannon Queen, ninth at the World Championships for young eventing horses and participant in the European Young Riders Championships.
The grand-dam Rheinnau, herself a daughter of the son of Arogno, Partout, who was internationally successful in Grand Prix with Anky van Grunsven, was awarded as State Premium, Premium and Elite Mare.
The great-grand-dam St.Pr. Rheinsonne, who is by Itaxerxes, Trakehner Champion Stallion and successful at advanced (S) level, is a half sister of the mare Rheinmöve (by Iglesias), who produced the licensed stallion Raventes (by Buddenbrock).
The Trakehner stallion Redecker as well as the dressage horses Risky Business/Edward Gal/NED, Rebell, Rufulus, Renoir L and Remus and the show jumping horses Renoir and Romanze also descend from the traditional dynasty of Regatta.
