Paul Schockemoehle Foundation
In 2015, multi-entrepreneur Paul Schockemöhle founded the non-profit "Paul Schockemöhle Foundation". Through a lot of hard work and entrepreneurial courage, Paul Schockemöhle has founded and built up companies in a wide range of industries, e.g. animal feed, forwarding & logistics, construction, renewable energies and horse breeding, trade & sports.
Born in 1945, at the end of WW2, he is aware of the fact that he was born at a good time in a good place (at that time) and was able to realize his dream of entrepreneurship as well as his passion, horse breeding and sports, for which he is very grateful.
At the same time, he knows there are many people who do not have such a good start for a successful, happy and fulfilled life. That is why he established the "Paul Schockemöhle Foundation" with one million euros to be able to financially support charitable causes from the proceeds. Over the years, he himself has donated further funds from his private fortune to the foundation for charitable purposes, and will continue to do so generously in the years to come.
Currently supported actions and institutions are e.g.:
- Direct personal commitment to the refugees of the Ukraine War 2022:
Paul Schockemöhle had 80 refugees picked up at the Ukrainian border immediately after the outbreak of war, rented a hotel for them near his Lewitz stud and provided them with meals from the stud's canteen. Stud employees and other helpers continue to provide them with the necessary materials and take care of them in their daily lives. About 40 more refugees are expected to arrive in March 2022.
- "Our Children" - Steinfeld-Mühlen-Foundation
Supporting economically needy young people from families in the Steinfeld-Mühlen community.
- "Off-Road Kids" - Foundation.
Nationwide charity for street children, young homeless people and young people acutely at risk of homelessness in Germany.
- "Landesverband Bayern der Gehörlosen e.V. "(Bavarian Association of the Deaf)
Self-help organization for the deaf and hearing-impaired, representing the social, cultural, professional and health policy interests of the deaf and hearing-impaired in Germany
- Support of various sports clubs, especially riding clubs, through donations.
- "Riding against hunger"
Initiative of equestrian sportsmen - donations for the Welthungerhilfe (World Hunger Aid)
