Harmonious in all body proportions and blessed with grandiose mechanics: already at his licensing in 2015 in Vechta, For Romance II captivated the audience and was called to the premium ring of the best of the year. Subsequently, he confirmed this high assessment with top marks in his stallion performance test. His foals are sold for high prices at auctions and are at the top of the placings in competitions. In 2018, one of his colts won the DSP (German Sport Horse) foal championships in Neustadt/D with the perfect score of 10.0.
In 2009, his sire Fürst Romancier was fourth at the World Championships for five-year-old dressage horses and at the German championships. Among his numerous successful offspring are the Burg Cup winner First Romance/Dorothee Schneider and the Burg Cup finalist and European silver medallist Fürst Levantino.
For Romance II is the full brother of For Romance I, Oldenburg Champion stallion, record price holder of the Stallion Market, winner of the main premium and Burg Cup finalist and of Fasine OLD, Oldenburg Champion Mare, German Champion, P.S.I. price record holder and successful at S level, who has also produced the stallion Fasino (by Foundation) who stands at our stud. Dante PS comes from the crossing of Gesina and Dante Weltino. Gesina’s daughter, Mount St. John Best of All, by Bordeaux, became British Dressage National Champion and was placed up to Small Tour level and produced Best of Mount St. John OLD (by Fürst Romancier) who was vice regional champion and fifth of the German National Championships.
The dam's sires Sir Donnerhall I, himself 2nd Reserve Champion of his licensing, Regional Champion, Record Winner of the stallion performance test, Vice World Champion and German Champion as well as Main Premium Winner, and Don Schufro, Olympic team bronze winner with Andreas Helgstrand/DEN in Hongkong/HKG, have resulted in interesting inbreeds to the sire of the century, Donnerhall, and to the no less significant half-breed, Sandro in the previous generations of the pedigree.
Grand dam Gesine also produced the 1st Reserve Champion Vivaldi’s Schufro (by Vivaldi).
For Romance II descends from Voltaire’s dam line.
For Romance II provides the evidence: Breeding means thinking in generations
