Walking in the footsteps of the exceptional Kannan

Kannatol, who is licensed in Sweden, has the conformation of an athlete and jumps with spectacular ability and particular caution, winning a series of tests for young show-jumping horses. He completed both his stallion performance tests in 2016 and 2018 in Flyinge/SWE with expected high scores up to 9.5. He also produced an excellent first crop of foals.

His sire Kannan, born in the Netherlands and combining the exceptional stallions Voltaire, Nimmerdor and Le Mexico in his pedigree, was part of the French Team that won the Samsung Super League in 2003 and 2004 with Michel Hécart. He also won the gold medal in 2005 at the French Championships. The list of Kannan's offspring is led by the London individual Olympic champion and double World Cup silver medallist Nino of Buissonnet/Steve Guerdat/SUI, the European Championship team bronze medallist Quorida de Treho/Romain Duguet/SUI and the World Cup winner Albführen's Paille/Steve Guerdat, thanks to whom their sire was placed amongst the top ten of the WBFSH ranking of the best show-jumping stallions in the world from 2010 to 2017. In 2019, Kannan was placed 16th, also thanks to his successful offspring, Quabri de I‘Isle/Pedro Veniss/BRA, Toupie de la Roque/Julien Epaillard/FRA, Symphonie des Biches/Reynald Angot/FRA, Sherkan d’Amaury/Kent Farringon/USA, Molly Malone V/Bertram Allen/IRL, Diva II/Ben Maher/GBR, Paddock du Plessis/Timothee Anciaume/FRA and Oh D’Eole/Gregory Wathelet/BEL. The former P.S.I. horse, A Pikachu de Muze, won the World Championships for young horses (6y.o.) in 2006 and Bridget was bronze medallist at the Pan-American Games in 2011.

There are 32 licensed sons of Kannan registered in Germany, including the 2016 Westphalian Champion Stallion, Karajan, who was sold for 620,000 euros.

Kannatol's internationally placed dam Stalognia was top price of the P.S.I. auction, selling for 1.7 million euros.

The dam's sire Stakkatol made his successful debut in classes for young show-jumpers and then won many competitions of the international Youngster Tour with Bastian Freese. Due to an injury, he could not continue his own career in show-jumping - but his extremely talented offspring took over for him. Stella/Markus Renzel finished third in the Grand Prix in Dortmund, Stalando/Krysztof Ludwiczak/POL took part in the World Equestrian Games in Tryon/USA and Stakkatan/Andrzej Oplatek/POL took part in the European Championships in Fontainebleau/FRA. And then there's Incitatus/Todd Minikus/USA, V.I.P. Stakkadon/Moufi Owaida al Karbi/UAE, Stackfleth/Pablo Barrios/VEN, Stakkanuja/Alessandra Bichsel/SUI etc.

Chacco-Blue appears in the third generation. The elite stallion, who passed away far too early, took third place in the Grand Prix of Aachen with Andreas Kreuzer and won the Grand Prix of Neumünster. Since 2015, he has been among the top ten of the world's best show-jumping sires and since 2017, he has led the ranking of the World Breeders Association WBFSH. Chacco-Blue owes this top position to his numerous offspring in top-class sport, led by the Vice European Champion and Global Champions Tour winner Explosion W/Ben Maher/GBR and the Grand Prix winner Chacna/Enrique Gonzalez/MEX. The latter was one of eight of Chacco-Blue’s offspring who took part in the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon/USA.

His great-grand-dam Bagolan (by Baloubet du Rouet), who competed in 1.45 meter show jumping up to international level, produced the champion horse of the young Philip Houston, Chacco-Blue's descendant Chalanda, with whom he came fifth in the Global Champions Tour in Estoril/POR.

The licensed stallions Chatender, Cool Magic I and II, Grenadier, Landino and Santana Hit as well as the international show-jumping horses Boy/Karsten Huck, Robert Smith/GBR and David Bowen/GBR also descend from this line.

Plenty of scope is never out of fashion
