The sire Messenger is the only licensed son of Montender/Marco Kutscher/GER, individual and team bronze medallist at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens/GRE, placed sixth in the World Cup of Milano/ITA in 2004 and double European Champion in San Patrignano/ITA in 2005. At his stallion performance test, he was awarded the score of 10 for his jumping abilities. With Florian Meyer zu Hartum, Messenger became the Vice Champion in Warendorf of the seven-year-old show jumping horses in 2014, after he was already placed in the finals of the German Championships. He then recorded his first international successes. In 2015 and 2016, he won, with different riders each time, the Redefin CSI3* Championships.
