Triumphal victories for our stallion Meganus PS: Victories in the two German Championship qualifiers for five-year-olds with 9.2 and 9.5, victory in the prestigious 14th Championship in Dobrock with 9.0 and victory in the German Championship qualifier at Diepholz with 9.0. In the 2021 season alone, he achieved another nine victories in competitions for young show jumping horses with his trainer Patrick Stühlmeyer/GER. Meganus PS impresses with his boundless jumping talent and a sensational and rare bloodline. In 2022, Meganus will stand at stud for the first time.

The sire Messenger is the only licensed son of Montender/Marco Kutscher/GER, individual and team bronze medallist at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens/GRE, placed sixth in the World Cup of Milano/ITA in 2004 and double European Champion in San Patrignano/ITA in 2005. At his stallion performance test, he was awarded the score of 10 for his jumping abilities. With Florian Meyer zu Hartum, Messenger became the Vice Champion in Warendorf of the seven-year-old show jumping horses in 2014, after he was already placed in the finals of the German Championships. He then recorded his first international successes. In 2015 and 2016, he won, with different riders each time, the Redefin CSI3* Championships. In 2017, with Philip Rüping, he finished second in the Grand Prix of Wiesbaden/GER and was highly placed in Calgary/CAN, Arezzo/ITA and again in Redefin. Since then, Messenger has been based in the USA. His oldest offspring are already successful in 1.50m show jumping competitions, such as Dessenger/Philipe Rozier/FRA, Marilyn/Daniel Bluman/ISR, Miss Aragona PS/William Whitaker/GBR and Mahony/Philipp Schulze Topphoff/GER.

His dam Whizz Kid also produced the 1.60m show jumping horses Chataga/Alejandro Mills/MEX, H5 Chaganus/Eduardo Pereira de Menezes/BRA and Casquo Blue/Douglas Lindelöw/SWE (4th place in the European Championships in Riesenback/GER in 2021), as well as other international show jumping horses, such as Chaccocartes (1.45m show jumping), Chacco’s Whizz Kid (all by Chacco-Blue; 1.40m show jumping horse) and Messi’s Whizz Kid PS (by Messenger; 1.25m show jumping).

Carthago, who appears in the second generation, took part in the Olympic Games in Atlanta/USA and Sydney/AUS with Jos Lansink/BEL. He also won the Nations Cups in Aachen, Rotterdam/NED and La Baule/FRA and is considered one of the most influential sons of Capitol I in breeding.

His grand-dam Gastona produced the licensed stallion Chacgrano (by Chacco-Blue; 1.60m show jumping)/Patrick Stühlmeyer/GER as well as the 1.60m show jumping horses Calasko Z (by Calvaro Z)/Manuel Sanderos/MEX and Colasko (by Colman)/Nicolas Pizarro/MEX. Also internationally successful are Balouboy (by Baloubet du Rouet, 1.40m show jumping), Polasko (by Polytraum, 1.50m show jumping), Casanova (by Carthago, 1.45m show jumping), Calvogran (by Calvaro Z, 1.45m show jumping) and Caltona (by Calvaro Z, 1.45m show jumping).

The performance sires Grannus and Wohlgemuth appear in the third and fourth generations of his pedigree.

His great-grand-dam Walaska produced Gaston M (by Grannus)/Hansueli Sprunger/SUI and the advanced (S) level dressage horses Traston (by Traumdeuter) and Chateau Paradise (by Continue).

The licensed stallions Sir Nymphenburg I and II (by Sir Donnerhall I) as well as Felice (by Diamond Hit) also descend from the dam line.
