The revival of the Rubinstein bloodline

Flawless in type, gigantic paces and convincing in movement - Sparkling is a worthy offspring of the now only narrowly blooming stallion line of Rubinstein, who transmits outstanding rideabilty.

His sire Springbank II VH began his career as Danish Dressage Champion Stallion. He subsequently won his stallion performance test with the remarkable total score of 954.5 points: 10 for rideability and perspective. Springbank II VH won the Swedish Young Horse Championships three times (as a 3, 4 and 6-year-old). He was also unbeatable at the Danish Championships (4y.o.) and came fifth at the World Championships for five-year-old dressage horses with an overall score of 9.18 (9.5 for canter and overall impression). In 2020, he won the qualification for the Danish Dressage Horse Championships for six-year-olds by a landslide. The final could not be held due to the coronavirus pandemic, just like the World Championships for young dressage horses, for which Springbank II VH was selected. Ridden by his new owner, Yara Reichert, he effortlessly succeeded the jump to advanced level as a seven-year-old and was placed twelfth at the World Championships for young dressage horses in Verden.

His dam Fascinada is the half sister of Glock’s Toto Jr. N.O.P. (by Totilas)/Edward Gal/NED, licensed stallion and victorious in international Grand Prix competitions.

Fürst Romancier in the second generation was Oldenburg main premium champion and fourth at both the World Championships for young dressage horses and the German Championships. His offspring, such as First Romance/Dorothee Schneider and For Romance OLD/Therese Nilshagen/SWE have arrived in the Grand Prix arenas.

His grand-dam Desperada produced the Inter I dressage horse Harmony’s Astro (by Astrix)/Michael Klimke/GER. Desperada’s full brother is Decurio/Susann Göbel/GER, licensed stallion and successful up to Inter I. Her full sister Damandara produced the licensed stallion Suarez (by Sezuan), who was placed in the final of the World Championships for six-year-old dressage horses in 2021.

Team Olympic, World and European Champion Desperados FRH/Kristina Sprehe/GER and the outstanding sire Rotspon, who stands at the State Stud in Celle, also appear in his pedigree.

His great-grand-dam St.Pr.St. Regentin also produced the Junior dressage horse Sirius Black (by Stedinger)/Gemma Owen/GBR and St.Pr.St. Sinphonie (by Stedinger), who produced Ferenikos Ymas (by Floriscount), licensed stallion and successful up to Inter I in the USA. A granddaughter of Regentin produced the Hanoverian Premium Stallion Daily Dream (by Dimaggio).

Through the fourth dam Bijou, the licensed Grand Prix stallion Hyrano (by First Junior)/Jeroen Devroe/BEL is also closely related.
