Shaped by Donnerhall

Premium stallion Dragon Hill impresses with well-defined limbs and harmony in his body. He possesses great potential in all three paces with a ground-covering walk and very elastic and forward rhythmic movements. His canter stride is elastic with an above average length of stride and a true uphill cadence. His temperament is exemplary; he is naturally calm with a first class character. In 2014, Dragon Hill finished his 70-day-test in Schlieckau as the best candidate with the dressage emphasized end mark of 8.48. For his rideability and conformation, he received the maximum mark of 10.0. His debut in sport with Anja Engelbart could not have been better: Dragon Hill transformed four entries in Riding Horse and dressage competitions into four wins! In 2015, in Germany and in Denmark, he presented a notable first crop with numerous premium candidates.
His sire Damon Hill, ridden by Helen Langehanenberg, was one of the most successful dressage horses worldwide and in his own special way, combines the two dressage heroes, Donnerhall and Rubinstein I. He was successful in many regional and national championships in Germany, was German Champion in 2012 in Balve, Nations Cup winner in Aachen and a little later, a member of the German Silver Medal team at the Olympic Games in London. Further highlights followed in 2013 with the victory in the Dressage World Cup in Göteborg, the Team victory at the European Championships and several silver medals in Herning (DEN). In 2014, he crowned his career with several silver medals and the team victory at the World Equestrian Games in Caen/FRA. To date, ten of his sons have been licensed, amongst them Damon Jerome/Uta Gräf, winner of many advanced level/S level dressage competitions, vice-world champion and finalist at the German national championships. The descendants, Damon’s Divene, Damon’s Delorange, Damon’s Satelite and Damon’s Dream were all German national champions. According to the FN breeding value estimation, Damon Hill belongs to the top 1% of the German dressage horse sires. Dam sire Sandro Hit, already a living legend during his time, became a milestone in German breeding history and by having sired about 200 licensed sons, amongst them numerous champions and premium sires, more than 260 state premium mares as well as several Bundeschampions, he has firmly made his mark. In the third and fourth generation we have an inbred effect of the important chestnut Parademarsch I, son of the NRW breeding legend Paradox I. Perlkönig I, Romulus I, Grünfink and Dorn are Westphalian gemstones in the earlier generations. The Westphalian dam lineage is based on the mare Feodora (by Formol-Adrill-Schwabe-Herzog) who produced 17 licensed sons, amongst them Falcone (privately owned stallion Westphalia), Flammengold (privately owned stallion Hess.), Freestyle (USA), Freudentanz, Paretti, Pazifik, Romadour I and Romadour II (both Ldb./ stud Warendorf) and Roman (privately owned stallion, Rhld.).
