Sire of the Oldenburg Show Jumping Champion and Hanoverian Vice Champion
Casallco's list of international successes is getting longer and longer: ridden by Philip Rüping, he won the Grand Prix of Opglabbeek/BEL, was second in the Grand Prix of Paderborn, fourth in the Grand Prix of Riesenbeck and highly placed in the Grand Prix of Redefin, Lastrup and Lanaken/BEL. He also completed two clear rounds in the Nations Cup in Drammen/NOR.
Casallco began his career as OS reserve winner, Ib main premium winner, stallion performance test successful candidate (three times the dream score of 10) and German Championship qualifier.
Casallco's offspring emulate him. First and foremost, Casa Lady Love PS/Lennard Runge (6y.o.), Oldenburg Champion and Vice Show Jumping Champion of Desiter, Cosima/Harm Wiebusch (6y.o.), Hanoverian Vice Show Jumping Champion and winner of the Paderborn CSI youngster show jumping competition, Casallbertin PS/Patrick Stühlmeyer, placed seventh at the German Championships and sold at the P.S.I. Auction, Cajulio, Vice Show Jumping Champion of Deister, and Conny Blue PS who was placed third. Cristo/Hergen Forkert, Caskkato TW/Scott Dollemore/GBR and Cajulio/Simon Nizri/MEX have already started competing at international level.
His licensed sons include our stallion Casalou PS/Eiken Sato/JPN and Jana Fink, who has achieved serial victories in young horse competitions and who was Reserve Champion of his stallion performance test, and Cavoiro – H OLD/Tobias Meyer, OS Champion Stallion, stallion performance test winner and successful in the international Youngster Tour.
Casallco’s daughter, St.Pr.St. Casalena, became second Reserve Champion Mare at the Westphalian Elite Show. Also highly placed with rank Ic is Caramba.
With Casall, Contender, Carthago and Calypso II, Casallco combines the absolute best of the Holstein breed in his pedigree. Furthermore, the line founder Cor de la Bryère appears four times in his pedigree.
With prize money of around 4.2 million Euros, his sire Casall was one of the highest earners. Ridden by Rolf-Göran Bengtsson/SWE, the son of the great Caretino won the Global Champions Tour overall ranking, the Leipzig World Cup final and the European Championship team bronze medal. He often competed at high level against his no less successful offspring, who placed him in the top ten of the world's best show jumping sires, according to WBFSH, for the first time in 2015. Amongst his over 80 licensed stallions are the two Holstein Champion Stallions Cadilo and Casaltino as well as the Reserve Champions Catch it and Cascadello I, with the latter auctioned for a record price of 600,000 Euros.
His dam Zelda IV is the full sister of the internationally ranked Chocoprince and half sister of the show jumping World Championship finalist Chasseur Ask Z (by Casall).
His dam’s sire Contender produced numerous internationally successful show jumpers. In Germany alone, they have won over eleven million euros in prize money.
His grand-dam Marli is the full sister of the licensed stallions Creve Coeur and Chippendale, who was successful up to 1.40m in show jumping.
Carthago, who appears in the third generation, took part in the Olympic Games in Atlanta/USA and Sydney/AUS with Jos Lansink/BEL. He also won the Nations Cups in Aachen, Rotterdam/NED and La Baule/FRA and is considered one of the most influential sons of Capitol I in breeding.
In the fourth generation, Contender’s influential sire Calypso II appears a second time, followed by Ramiro's exceptional son, Rio Negro.
Casallco represents the Holstein lineage 8798, which is of Hanoverian origin, and has also produced the licensed stallions Hemmingway, Le Filou I and II and the internationally successful show jumping horses Charly Brown/Uwe Volmer and Marc Bettinger as well as Quenaro, amongst others.
