Stallion performance test Reserve Champion
Winning type from the beginning: Casalou PS won no less than nine novice (A) and elementary (L) level competitions for young horses with scores up to 9.0 in his first show jumping season with Jana Fink and Eiken Sato/JPN. This youngster, with a fantastic temperament and a lot of power, completed his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf in 2021 with an overall score of 8.63 as Reserve Champion, behind our stallion Chaccothage Blue PS. For his scope, the judges awarded the score of 9.5.
His sire Casallco won the Grand Prix of Opglabbeek/BEL, came second in Paderborn, fourth in Riesenbeck, seventh in the Grand Prix of Lastrup and competed two clear rounds in the Nations Cup in Drammen/NOR. For the OS reserve winner, Ib main premium winner, stallion performance test successful candidate (three times the dream mark of 10) and German Championship qualifier, the future clearly points to absolute top-class sport, just like for his offspring, to whom he has passed on his almost unlimited abilities. Casallco has produced several licensed stallions, including Cavoiro – H OLD/Tobias Meyer/GER, OS Champion Stallion, show jumping stallion performance test winner and successful in the international Youngster Tour. In the starting blocks are Casa Lady Love PS/Lennard Runge (6y.o.), Oldenburg Champion and Vice Show Jumping Champion of Desiter, Cosima/Harm Wiebusch, Hanoverian Vice Show Jumping Champion, Casallbertin/Patrick Stühlmeyer (6y.o.), placed seventh at the German Championships and sold at the P.S.I. Auction, Cajulio, Vice Show Jumping Champion of Deister, and Conny Blue who was placed third. Cristo/Hergen Forkert, Caskkato TW/Scott Dollemore/GBR and Cajulio/Simon Nizri/MEX have already started competing at international level. Casallco’s daughter, St.Pr.St. Casalena, became second Reserve Champion Mare at the Westphalian Elite Show. Also highly placed with rank Ic is Caramba.
His dam Balcanna produced other offspring who were successful in young horse show jumping competitions as well as Livellouet (by Livello), who took part in 1.45m international show jumping competitions.
His dam's sire Balou du Rouet, himself successful in advanced level show jumping competitions, sired Baloutinue/Laura Kraut/USA, Olympic team silver medallist, Bianca/Steve Guerdat/SUI, bronze medallist at the World and European Championships and eighth in the World Cup, Saura de Fondcombe/Nadja Peter Steiner/SUI, team third at the European Championships, as well as Corouet/Sarah Bullimore/GBR, individual bronze medallist at the European Eventing Championships. He is not only by far the most successful son of his famous sire, the Olympic champion and three-time World Cup winner Baloubet du Rouet, but also appears, once again, amongst the top 15 and top 12 of the world's best show jumping and eventing sires respectively, according to the WBFSH ranking.
His grand-dam Quintera was placed in 1.60m international show jumping competitions with Leon Thijssen/NED and Jaroslaw Skrzyczynski/POL. She also produced the 1.40m show jumping horse Clinton‘s Star (by Clinton).
The exceptional sires Kannan and Quick Star also appear in his pedigree.
