Extremely harmonious stallion. Select Me works wonderfully loose through the body. He moves in a absolutely clear rhythm in the walk and with a good ground cover in trot and canter.
His sire, Secret, is son of the three-time dressage horse world champion and international Inter I winner, Sezuan. Secret won his 14-day test, was Vice Bundeschampion for 3-year-olds in 2017, Vice World Champion in 2019 and Bundeschampion in 2020. He has over 50 licensed sons, including the Bundeschampion, Segantini. The Vice Bundeschampioness, Sézane, the Vice Bundeschampion and Hanoverian Champion, Sedamo K, the Hanoverian Champion, So Dynamic, the Vice Champion, Special Design, the Austrian Bundeschampion, Santa Florentina, the DSP Vice Champion, Selected, and the Baden-Württemberg State Champion, Santana. At the 2023 World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses, eleven of the 44 approved youngsters had Secret as their sire. Three of whom were in the final, led by 6th-placed Grevens Sirius/Michael Grönne Christensen/DEN. There were even 30 offspring at the Bundeschampionate.
The full sister, Secret's Fantastic, won riding horse tests in 2023 under Sascha Böhnke.
The dam's sire, Fantastic, descended from Fürst Romancier, recorded serial victories up to Inter I and produced various offspring with successes in international small tour.
His great-granddam is mother of the licensed stallion, Danegro (by Don Index).
In third place is the Olympic team gold medal winner and individual bronze medal winner, Desperados under Kristina Bröring-Sprehe. 20 of his sons were approved for breeding, including the Burg Cup winner and World Cup freestyle winner, Destacado FRH/Matthias Alexander Rath and Destano/Simone Pearce/AUS, who also won Grand Prix.
The fourth dam produced Magellan (by Metternich)/Alina Rosenberg, who was licensed and placed at the Para-European Championships, the advanced (S***) level dressage horse Cherry Lady (by Conteur)/Andrea Timpe and the medium (M**) level dressage horse Masepulany (by Metternich).
