Your Tasks
• Teamwork: You work closely with your team to ensure an optimal workflow.
• Birth Assistance: Care and support of the horses during and after birth.
• Care & Stable Work: General tasks with and around the horses.
• Reproductive Management: Leading mares to gynecological exams or insemination.
• Herd Monitoring: Regular checks on the health, well-being, and nutritional status of the horses, along with documenting any special occurrences.
• Medical Care: Administering medication as prescribed by a veterinarian, wound care, and assisting with examinations and treatments by the vet.
• Training & Familiarization: Getting foals used to humans, halters, and basic leading exercises.
• Transport & Preparation: Preparing horses for transport or sale.
• Farrier Preparation: Getting horses accustomed to hoof care, cleaning their hooves, and preparing them for the farrier.

• Desirable: You have completed a training as an equine specialist – prior work experience is advantageous.
