Your Tasks

  • Organization & Coordination: You plan and oversee daily operations, ensuring optimal care, feeding, and logistics for our horses. You coordinate team activities, communicate with veterinarians, farriers, and other service providers, and ensure smooth day-to-day processes

  • Documentation & Administration: You maintain accurate records of the horses’ health, treatments, and training progress, and keep all relevant data up to date in our systems.

  • Team Management: You plan and coordinate staff schedules, assign tasks, and supervise execution to ensure an efficient and effective working environment.

  • Health & Inventory Monitoring: You regularly check the horses’ health, well-being, and nutritional condition, and document any notable incidents or changes.

  • Medical Care: You administer medication as prescribed by veterinarians, perform wound care, and assist during veterinary procedures.

  • Training & Rehabilitation: You gently reintroduce horses to training after recovery, using tools such as the horse walker or paddock.

  • Stable & Grounds Maintenance: You ensure a clean and well-maintained environment in both the stables and outdoor areas.

Your Profile

  • Passion & Dedication: You have a genuine passion for horses and a strong interest in continuously developing your skills while ensuring the well-being of the animals. This is more than just a job for you – you fully understand and embrace the time and dedication it requires.

  • Experience & Expertise: You have solid experience and knowledge in handling horses, particularly in breeding and horse care. You are able to reliably assess their condition and respond appropriately.

  • Qualifications: A completed qualification as an equine professional (Pferdewirt/in) is preferred; relevant work experience is a plus. We also welcome career changers with sound hands-on experience in horse care.

  • Team Spirit & Leadership Skills: You are a true team player – responsible, confident in your decisions, and actively engaged in day-to-day operations.

  • Independence & Flexibility: You work independently, take initiative in developing your area of responsibility, and require little supervision. You are open to change and embrace new challenges.

  • Physical Resilience: You are not afraid of physical work and are aware of the physical demands that come with the profession.
